"Meet Aya Hasegawa and Michelle Reynoso of Nourished ATX"
Hi Aya and Michelle, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
We met in 2019. Our similar health supportive culinary backgrounds led to a fast friendship. In 2022, Nourished ATX came about as a dream, but also a need to provide healthy on-the-go options. Our holistic approach focuses on gut and microbiome health and overall well-being.From adaptogenic foods and mindful cooking practices–with a focus on clean ingredients and locally sourced produce–our main goal is reestablishing people’s connection with food. We believe food is meant to provide us nourishment, vitality and better lives!
Any big plans
We’ve been talking about the possiblity of another food trailer, or a small cafe. Numerous wellness centers have reached out to carry some of our food and drinks. We’re excited to see what that will look like, and we can’t wait to further develop those partnerships.
Our Personal Bios
Michelle Reynoso
You could say that for Chef Michelle, her love for food and cooking runs in her blood. As the daughter of a Mexican restauranteur and a Polish home chef, unique culinary experiences have always been a part of who she is.
This love led her to move to Austin and attend the Natural Epicurean Academy of Culinary Arts and become certified as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. As a plant-forward, gut focused holistic chef, her passion is to create intentional, nutritious and delicious food for people to feel good about.
She has been able to do that as a personal Chef for her private clients for the past 7 years and is now excited to able to share her food with her Austin community. Michelle invites you to join a unique “healthy eats” option for those wanting to nourish their bodies with wholesome, real food.

Chef Aya attended the Natural Gourmet Institute in NYC, studying Plant-Based Health-Supportive Culinary Arts. Upon graduation, Aya applied her culinary training towards fine dining restaurants in New Jersey.
In 2019, she moved to Austin, where she started work as a Personal Chef for several clients. This venture included cooking for dinner parties and private events. The following year, Aya took on the role of Private Chef for a local family, whom she also traveled with.
But after a number of years, Aya wanted to contribute to the growing food scene in Austin. Throughout her career, Aya has dedicated much of her expertise to cooking for those with dietary restrictions, and she is excited to continue doing so.
